To the hum of daily living

At the wonders that surround you

Life in all its glory
Your heart's beating in your chest
As the air fills your lungs

Now...
You're filled with pure sensation
And you're beginning to capture
Just a glimpse of what I am

For I am... the Holy Spirit
Of your eternal Father
A mantra rumbling cross the aether
And rippling through time

And... as you begin to know me
You'll know yourself just a little bit better
With all that hidden potential
You, in turn, carry on to the daily grind

And you carry it into
The care that you offer
To others that surround you
To all the tasks that you face
And To your innermost self

So go...
Face the daylight
Bring a beacon to the shadows
Know I'm always by your side

And in your darkest hour
When all the odds seem stacked against you
